The thesis T1 - T23 cover 23 of the 29 thesis (80%), which were prepared in the membrane-protein & bioenergetics division of the Biochemistry Institute of the Gutenberg-University, Mainz between 1985 and 2000. This group is that part of the institute structure not covered by the groups of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. F. Fahrenholz (protein chemistry -biochemistry & receptors group), Prof. Dr. C. Koch-Brandt & PD. Dr. G. Klock (molecular biology & cell biology group ) ,  PD. Dr. O. Ullrich (molecular cell biology group), Prof. Dr. K. Dose (em.) (exobiology group), and Prof. Dr. P. Flesch (wine chemistry group). The rest (6 of 29 thesis = 20%) was prepared in Prof. Dr. H.-J. Schäfer's bioenergetics-photoaffinity labeling group. These are the thesis TS1 - TS6:
